About This Project
Faced with a dramatic, custom-tiled alcove archway in Austin, Texas, our team was tasked with creating an inline frameless shower enclosure that would highlight, rather than hide, the bathroom’s stunning masonry. We custom-fit an arched heavy-glass enclosure that follows the exact contour of the tiled ceiling archway.
The layout features double doors on each end with a fixed panel in the center. The double doors are equipped with elegant Satin Brass handles and matching glass-to-glass hinges. This precise installation successfully creates a secure, moisture-tight barrier for the freestanding tub and shower zone while transforming the striking architecture into a grand, visual focal point.
An arched opening leaves no margin for error. The curve is templated on site and the glass is fabricated to match it before the hinges are ever located. More frameless shower door projects or our Austin, TX service page.
